Reviews for "Fairweather Friend [Trance]"

Mehhh.

Ok, it was DECENT. But it wasn't all that great. Then again, it was a song made in less time than I'm used to seeing from most artists on Newgrounds, but that's not quite an excuse for me, either. The song is GOOD, it's just that it sounds a bit primitive and experiment-y. There's not a lot of elements that come together in the song and it doesn't seem to transition all too smoothly. The instrumental bit towards the end was probably the part that I liked the least, it didn't really send the song out too well. There was some cool effects a little after 2:10 that were pretty slick, and the intro was rather harmonic and a terrific lead-in. I'd say add another element into the song, maybe something subtle to tie it all in. Or, if you're going to transition and keep the song dynamic, make the transitions a bit more smooth; fade out and in during transitions, add some nice, lulling lead-ins and depart each segment with a near-climax.

I'm sorry I don't write traditional trance? Yes it is kind of experimenty, because i'm trying to be creative. I don't want to be producing a song that sounds like you've heard it before. And no it isn't the best quality. I'd only had FL Studio for 2 months prior to putting this song out. I still don't consider myself an expert at using it by any means.

However, thankyou for the suggestions. I'll probably not return to this song, but i'll take em into account in my future works.
