although i fail to see how it took you a year and a half. also i put it on low quality and it still lagged. and i don't have a crappy computer. the only other flash that ever lagged was mk vs sf part 3.
anyway the first couple ones of the series should be rated higher. although it might be because half of newgrounds are athiests, including me. i tend to not like things that bring religion into in. it's not bad but..

he has control of things when he's monologuing. nice.
Anyway, your script has a few corny elements to it, but altogether not bad. your graphics are great, and your sound isn't too bad. violence is adequate but not over-the-top like you stated. it's a good show. i hope you aren't gonna leave me hanging with the second bit, eh? EH???
Mmm... pretty good.
First of all this movie did have great graphics but thats mostly it.
I the dialogue was not that good and was full of fantasy story cliches.
The voicecast was pretty good, the crows voice was good, it did really fit with the character (every hero needs and annoying sidekick that talks all the time). The Evil Wizard guy had nice voiceacting too, but the Paladin... I couldnt actually even hear him so I dont think I should critizise him (Yeah, speak louder please.).
Few other things caught my eye too, like the killing of his "father"... it was horrible!
He kicked him in the air, cut the spikes so they could impale him... thats horrible!
That scene would have needed some abit touching way to end.

pretty damn good
bar far one of the best series on newgrounds. the graphics are beautiful which could even put adam philips at awwwwe. ive watched this from the start and every episode has gotten better and better. there was just some minor problems with this one though. the scrit seemed like it wasn't up to par as much as the others. almost as if you did all the animating first and left the talking for last or soemthing. the voice actors were amazing i must say except for the bird lol. the bird voice seems so outta place and the reason why i gave you 8 on humor was cause i thought it was too funny how bad the voice acting was for when it was being killed. other then that you got yourself a bitchen animation just a few minor detail problems. meh everyone has got them
