Reviews for "Pan's Labyrinth Dub (#1)"

lolol

you ate the pizza..... i love it

Homeless responds:

He actually said "I love it" because that was a response to a line that was there before I put "You Ate the Pizza". originally he said something about her having a stomach and that he loved it, but I replaced that with "You ate the pizza" and I left in "I love it" because it seemed really random and it sorta fit.

Why are you in my taco bell?!

I didn't expect there to be such randomness in this dub, but there it is.

You did a very fine job on this.

Homeless responds:

I love random.

Purty damn good voice work.

I really loved this movie. I thought I was in for a mock of a good film when I clicked this, but I'll admit it was pretty funny. Would have like to have seen dubs on scenes with the her and the faun. Or the Pale Man. It was weird that parts that didn't even have dialogue were "dubbed," but whatever.

do the pale man next!

Homeless responds:

I was actually considering that... or the part where the guy gets his face bashed in with the bottle! :P

No... F-ing... way...

I never heard about this movie and I watch it (t'was forced). 15 minutes later, I _randomly_ click a recent submission AND IT'S BASED ON THAT FRIGGIN' MOVIE. Scariest crap that's happened to me.

BUT this one is still good. I liked the part where the woman sits on the chair, when the guy outta nowhere tells the girl "Don't you ever talk back to me like that." or something and finally the Taco Bell part. See that guy? I'm going to eat him.

Great humor!

I'll make sure that nothing more happens by ridding my house of any chalk...

Homeless responds:

Make shure you check REALLY hard for invisible chalk. Crap can still happen if you still have that invisible chalk crap laying around...

it was a good attempt

knox-fan right? Who'd of thought? anyway, as dubs go this is one of the better quality ones, the sound was very good and the voice-acting was very nice.

You had some good stabs at humor but most fell flat for me. A lot of it I think had to do with the choice of movie. Not a lot of people have seen Pan's Labyrinth, and besides that point it's in Spanish. One of the best parts of dubs is remembering the actual lines of the movie. I'd like to see you do another movie with less visual focus (which is basically the niche of Pan) and something with more dialogue.

Try one of these

Pulp Fiction
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior

Or any horror movie basically

Evil Dead 2
The Shining
Jeepers Creepers

Homeless responds:

ok? Why should I dub a movie that everyone has seen? I don't want humor based off of the actual dialoge because what if someone hasn't seen it? It's better if you make a dub funny and have it be funny whether the person has seen the original movie or not
