Reviews for "Flash Critical Beats"

Could be better

The graphics weren't extrodionary, but they weren't bad either. The music was questionable. You picked three songs (I wish there was more), that seemed to just repeat over and over again. I found it wierd that I could not hit any markers throughout the whole game (on easy), and the "Elite-o-Meter" didn't go down. The syncing was pretty good, but I got annoyed when I clicked after the beat and it got counted as a miss. And why is there the same beats for each difficulty? I've played EBA, and even both Osu Tatake Ouendan games (The Japanese version). I started making an EBA-ish game a long time ago, and I plan on entering it in the contest. So I'm not stealing.
You did good on this game. I wish my computer was faster, so I could play it without lagging.

Thanks for the review.
I was going to add more songs but I wanted to submit this game in. Making the notes for a song is very painstakingly long.
Also, on Easy, you start with 10,000 Health as opposed to the standard 100. It says in the instructions that Easy is basically Sandbox.
I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to hit any notes in easy mode. I tested it and it works perfectly fine.

I wish you a lot of luck with your game.

Good start but needs more.

This game has some good potential in becoming a great music sim game but it needs a few changes. The big thing that did bother me was the size of the beat markers was a little too small. I could understand if it were Diva mode but since it was during regular game play it was too much to ask from the get-go. So, the music selection might do better with a little more variety. Otherwise, its solid for a first release and I hope to see an update or sequal to this game. Good luck!

Don't bother comparing it to EBA.

Its just not the same.

I know making this might have been hard

but the sync wasn't perfect, and if a rythme game doesn't have perfect sync then there is no reason to play it. I am sorry if thats harsh, but seriously if a note is half a second to soon then that ruins the experience. (and I play rythme games a LOT so I know what I am talking about.)

XceeD responds:

Umm... Really, none of the notes are actually faster or slower than the song. It's all done and rechecked upon. Perhaps you thought it was a different time to press it?
By the way, I made a lot of rhythm games, so I would know what I'm saying too...

wow

I was really expecting good stuff seeing EBA there, but I guess I shouldn't see books by the cover. sorry.

XceeD responds:

:(
Can you describe why you were so disappointed? (PM me.)
