Reviews for "Shield Defense v1.4"

Great Game, but Needs Some Fixes

This game is very good, and could be outstanding with just a few fixes. As mentioned in other reviews, it's very long and can be ended be sheer bad luck at any point. There are two possible workarounds for this:

1. Add a save feature. This one should go in no matter what.

2. Add an upgrade to deflect incoming projectiles, that can potentially save you from an unblockable death assault. Make it, say, a Phalanx CAWS type system that can't reach enemy tanks but can shoot down their projectiles. Give it a charger like the shield, enough to only take down say three or four shots without spending fifteen seconds or so to recharge, and voila! You have a fun fix for the problem that adds to the already impressive strategic options of the game.

its ok not bad but nopt too great

it good but getts old fast its kind of like pong fun but it gets boring i do not know how you can make it better you did a good job though mabye if you did something like enemyies that dont just go in the square that got old fast

Save

The save doesn't work.

I can't aim.

Altough I reflect the shots just fine, they rarely go the direction I want. It seems to me the reflection engine is the complete opposite of what it should be... Take for example brick-busting games like Ricochet. The paddle is curved on the sides, that way when the ball hits the left side, the ball deviates to the left, wich allows for great control on the direction of the ball. If you want it to go straight up, make it hit the middle. If you want it to go really left, make the ball hit the left edge of the paddle.

But in this game I could not figure out a clear pattern of projectile directions. Everytime I hit the shots they went a different way, so I could not aim properly at the tanks. You seriously need to redesign the way the shots rebound so we can properly aim them.

Because of this I gave the game a 3.

This is definitely one of the best defense games I've played in a while. Great music, great gameplay, plenty of upgrades and configurations. And the fact that the audio's from the AP makes it all even better, not very common. Twas an extensive and fun game, keep it going!
