This a really good way of using sprites. You improve by making this into a mini-game series. you seem like a perfect person to make the Metal Slug series that would be great to have on Newgrounds. Could improve by doing more sound but thats about it. This deserves to be on Newgrounds.

the menu sucks and the screens dont connect
make actual levels that the screens match then it will be good enough we dont need zombies, make the direction that the weapons are facing change as well, other than that i love metal slug so dont let me down again!
