heh cute little critter. I enjoyed the style you presented here and the story was simple and fun. You could easily make this into a series of shorts with the squirrel having more adventures. Nice job with this!

Finally! Someone understands us!!
I was getting a bit bored of the whole shooting, killing, violent flash. Sure I still like those but rarely do I ever see a great cute non violent flash on NG. The last cute movie I saw was "there she is" part 1 and part 2. Now in comes you. Thankyou for making a new account on NG and posting this awesome cute fun flash which I will call it a cartoon. The graphics were weird though. Sometimes the movie looked crisp and colorful but sometimes it moved to a old fashion flintstones graphic cartoon. Anyway I love that animal. It looks like a fox but you say its a squirrel so I guess it is. How the heck did the squirrel get on the tiny island in the first place? Please make more. More cute flash that is...not enough on newgrounds that are actually good. Bye for now

I always enjoy seeing traditional hand-drawn animations on this website because although they take much more work and effort than Flash made animations, they always seem to surpass them in quality. Your idea was great and your coloring was marvelous! I enjoyed this and wish you luck with your animations in the future!

How very extremely cute! Animated on a lightbox you say? What did you use to color it? Raytoss? Toon Boom? Or are these actual inked cels we are looking at?
Either way, great short. Cute designs, smooth traditional animation, and a slightly different ending than what I was expecting. After the tree split open I thought it was going to end, but you made it go further, which was great.
