a good fun game, & the NES style blocky grafix r a nice touch. but i just kant beat this thing!

I haven't reviewed anything on NG for years but enjoyed this so much that I felt the need to say: great job! This is the most fun I've had since Adventure. This makes me want to break out the old 2600.
I'll give the next Ratmaze a "10" for Violence too if you throw in some dragon analog (a snake, maybe?)... and maybe a bat analog. Thanks for bringing back memories of one of my all-time favorite games! :)

Thanks!! Adventure was (and still is) one of my favorite games of all time. It's nice to hear you compare it. We actually did have a plan for a spider that was going to roam the maze and slow you down if he webbed you, but we ran out of time. We were going to have to additional secret areas w/ some fun challenges, but also, we ran out of time. Ratmaze 3 then... :)

It's a nice little game, with a lot more than it seems at first. Music's nice, not repetitive. A good way to spend a few minutes.
Reminds me alot of the Dont Stop The Beat video.. anyway great game.
