To date, I think this is the only visual interpretation of the original Doom's prologue

Doom WITH Half Life sounds!
Still one of my favorite flash animations of all time.
So bad ass to see this.
Seems odd that you split it into separate parts being that it was generally short. Overall the animation was good for the time, but doesn't hold up too well with all the still frames. I think the intensity of it for the theme was well done, but it was oddly interrupted when the punch sequence happened. The sound effect ended up being comical, and it feels more like you were too lazy to actually animate him getting beat up than cutting it for any dramatic purposes.
The second half on mars was well done for story purposes, and really ended on a good note with the quote at the end. However, yet again it seems like you were too lazy to animate any fight sequence as a black screen is shown when the rest of your squad gets killed. The sounds were all well done though, and contributed the overall mood.
It's held up quite well for a 17 year old flash animation!
