Thanks for the review man :)

A whysical journey

This was a story of fairytale and legend, it was a work of imaginative expansion. And I really enjoyed it.

Glad to hear it :)

GLITCH ALERT!!!! >:O

I found the game to be very well made sorta reminded me of those kirby games a bit. BUT there is a glitch in the game that has happend to me twice! When u use the radar/microphone shortranged attack thingy before entering a next area u may freeze in position of the attack. This really ticked me off and if a sequel is coming out fix it! But since I don't want to be unfair for just that i'm still giving it an 8. Really because u could have added more story to it and better music sound and got a bit repetitive, but it was still alright.

FIX GLITCH!

I'll try...

I enjoyed playing this game immensely.

I had an awesome fun time playing this game. I especially enjoyed the very apt musical numbers, and the inclusion of some secrets to collect. I also especially loved the way that some barriers fell away from in front of you as you attained abilities from later in the game.

Now, at the risk of sounding nitpicky, there were two things about this game that rubbed me the wrong way.

First: The levels were very long. Most particularily since the game was clearly designed around re-doing them to hunt for secrets and there was no way to exit a level you had already completed unless you fight your way to and defeat the boss(es) again. I would perhaps suggest implementing six (or maybe even nine) smaller levels instead of the three huge ones you went with.

Second: The controls seemed rather choppy at times. I really noticed this when I stopped horizontally mid jump when firing my weapon, and when I tried to double jump when not at the absolute peak of my jump. I also found the rotating platforms in level 1 a smidge annoying due to the fact that they kept rotating (i.e. letting you fall through) if you hit them with your weapon, which combined with the cone shaped firing pattern led to a few nasty falls.

One last smal tidbit: The music was spectacular, but the sound effects definitly could have used work.

All in all, a very enjoyable experience. Thank you for sharing it with me.

Paranoia responds:

Thanks for taking the time to review. I'll certainly spend more than one hungover morning on sound effects in future :P

3 years later...

...And this game is still a treasure. Please ignore the "useless" comments below. Since i hate bad grammar (you were died), I hate dying. Since i hate dying, i have to show i am better than the game, by winning. I got pretty far, first found this on Andkon, and i'm dying to know the ending. Im up to the Umbrum boss. Please tell me how it ends! If you don't get this i'll sen you a PM.
