I know that sequels in general are either lesser versions of the original, or so completly different from the original that it turns off all of those who were attracted to it in the first place. That said, it gives me great pleasure to say that you've done honor to the original here, and you even managed to expand apon its concept while still retaining the first's style and feel. That in it of itself is enough to gain my respect, for anybody that is in the habbit of making a series can tell you that consistency is of the utmost importance. Needless to say, you apparently did quite a fine job of keeping that bit in mind when you began to create this.
The only real criticism that you may ever receive is the fact that this game lacks depth as a puzzler or adventure game. But really, anybody that has played Menulis knows very well not to look for that next Submachine or Gateway here, no, they know to look for the follow up on a very surrealistic and relaxing game, and you did a damn fine job at doing just that. Anyway, if you had decided to actually go for the image of a tough puzzler with this follow up, then you'd of gone in the path of an animator/programer who'd forgotten what made the orginal so great, thereby losing all of the fans that you may have once had. You didn't though, and for that I respect both of you.
My only real advice to you is to keep it short, and keep it fresh.
