EXCEPT, I would have given this a ten, if there wasn't a "fade away" at the end. Still seeing the final scene when asked whether or not to replay, to me, seems to really stress the point of what just went down.

Me too. But I usually get bored with most concepts very quickly, so I must finish them very fast or I'll just dump them forever and then when I'm not interested in that anymore, the new animation I do becomes crap. That's why they all are so short.
