damn A.I.
is it just me or is the AI ridiculously hard? the AI got like 4 dragons, a banshee, a bunch of swats, and wont stop getting cards that build its fence. all i get are conjour cards and destroy materials cards. after three times of loosing, i give up.
It was OK
Graphice are bad.. the game draggs on if you're playing some one who knows what their doing .. good stragedy
Addicting
A friend of mine introduced me to this game a while back and I'd forgotten about it until coming across it again today. Castlewars is a very enjoyable game and the ability to customize your deck to your preferred playing style is a simple yet very enriching design decision as it opens up the ability to add more strategy to a simple game. On the other hand, it's also easy and enjoyable to just dive in with the default deck. The strategy-addicts might find it more challenging with more restrictions placed upon the deck management however. Such as a limit on the copies per card or a min/max requirement on deck size. (Perhaps make the restrictions optional as any time a game is made harder there will be just as many that are discouraged by the new challenge as there will be those that are excited by it). And while the graphics aren't in any way painful to look at, they are rather simple. Updated images, more detailed cards, or a more engaging background wouldn't hurt.
All-in-all, while I feel this game -could- be better, I also enjoy it immensely just as it is.
