Reviews for "Night of Storms (Zelda Remix)"

Nice!!

As a big zelda fan, I think combining the two songs and mixing it up was a brilliant idea. Had a wonderful mystifying sound to it. You really hit home with this remix, keep it up!

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks. I am glad you liked it. :D

Whoa

Can't believe that no ones reviewed this yet. Now I don't know much about making music, but this is well done.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks. Im glad you liked the song. I really appreciate the reviews. :D

It`s good

It is good but lacks higher speed

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Im sorry, but originally I messed with this songs tempo over and over, yes that means faster. In my mind it removes alot of it's effects when faster mainly because midna's lament is not suppose to be fast.

I like it, but...

It's a tad slow. I like the instrumentation; nice variety, and has a nice effect. But reading the other comments, Midna's Lament can indeed sound good when played fast, just not on its own. Personally, I always associate the song with *spoiler alert* her near-death experience. Thus, an increasing tempo (nothing dramatic) enhances that feeling of desperation for me, leading to its power increasing. I've got to struggle to not do just that when playing it on the piano.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

In this situation... that does indeed make sense. I am still slightly worried that it will lose the feeling I originally intended the song to have though.

Hmmm

This is a very smooth combination. Not a lot of songs can be combined easily, including these two, but you pulled it off. While it is slower then song of storms usually is, I can see why it would lose the melancholy and stillness of midna's lament if you did speed it up.

Some of the beginning guitar was a bit loud and fast though for the whole mood, but that's me...

All in all, you did a good job, and I'll be adding this to my fav's. 4/5 9/10

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thanks, I am glad you liked it, and glad you understand why I kept it at the speed it is at. Thanks for listening, as for the loudness of the guitar, I honestly don't notice that in this song at all. Maybe it's just your speakers, as the bass and such can be changed in volume.
