Good start. But some pointers.. Get someone to help you work on the sprites. Add more to the shop. Get someone to help you with your photoshopped backgrounds. Fix the music.. or at least give credit where it's due for what games you took it from *cough*ff7*cough*
Firstly the music is from the portal so their the ones who give the credit to where the music is from. Yes I need to work on the textures etc. but it is my first time using it in such a way, but thanks for the review.

I thought it was decent enough. I voted to protect it, simply so you could get more comments from experianced game makers.
From a simply audience stand point, id recomend a bit more polish. The art could be improved, maybe find better sound effects.
The gameplay requires the most improvement however.
Once you click go, you are instantly swarmed. the enemies only stop for a bit for you to attack them, but with 4 on you if you go to attack 1 the other 3 pound you.
give the player some breathing room to explore for enemies practice the control for 5 seconds. i didn't get to see the magic because i died to soon. Overal i think you have lots of room to improve, but i think you have the ability. with some practice we should see a fun game out of you.
As I said in my commentary, its my first game of this type, so I'm working on it.I main not use similar photoshoped images next time because they look a little out of place and pixelated. I was just trying some things out. Thanks for the review.
You've got the basics down...
...But this still needs work. Also, it's hard to recommend when Goblin Heart does most of the things you did, and better.
