Reviews for "The Ascension to Funklord"

pretty good but....

kinda unoriginal, half expected ending but thats just me,and i noticed in the final round you got the moves off the you got served episode of south park, still pretty good

Rofl ^^

Haha that was funny man especially Mario when he shouted Buk-Buk-Yeah!! =P that was from lil john,Other than that that song
with these 3 kidz made me remember the old times ^^.Great Job Man!

VG-humor FTW!

In short terms: Great! Dunno how you got those voices that good but they truly ruled.

The only thing I found a bit dissapointing the cigg in Earl's mouth that wasen't all that great. Other then that, it was 100% on the graphics.

Well done.

Amazing work.

In a nutshell: BEST MARIO FLASH EVER.
Seriously. Great work. I remember playing Toejam and Earl a while back.

And now: THE EVALUATION:

Graphics and Style: Even though you used sprites (which was a fine choice, by the way), you managed to add your own personal flair to everything. The animations were also smooth, fluid, and matched up with the voices and the overall feel of the flash. From the streets at night to the bar to even the funky backgrounds during the dance-off, you made each and every aspect of this animation spot-on and clean. Well done.

Sound: Great voice acting. ToeJam and Earl had voices that matched their personality types very well. On top of that, you did an exceptional job voicing Mario and Luigi.

Violence: The gun at the end was a surprising and yet hilarious touch. I never knew ToeJam bled green.

Interactivity: Although a straightfoward flash, I enjoyed seeing the little details you put into
the nooks and crannies of this (loading animation, cats/mice things drinking spilt beer, etc.).

Humor: Amazing. Even the actual concept of Mario challanging ToeJam to a dance-off caught my attention from the get go and did not dissapoint me. Like previously stated, the gun at the end, followed by the random crashes and screams were absolutely side-splitting. And Earl dancing after was a nice finish.

Overall: Wonderful job. Make more flashes.

Hahaha

Very nice...by the way, is that sound clip at the end, when Mario leaves, from Metalocalypse?
