An original concept indeed. I could really see myself getting into this game and playing it often! Just make sure you put as much effor and detail in the REST of the game as you did here!

Heres an idea for the full thing: Try adding lots of cards (even, like a SWATbot card) and SHINY cards! (Like super sonic) .
To improve:
-Add more storylines! (Robotnik story! :) )
-Lots of cards!
-How about another beta? With an opponent you can keep fighting.
-And mabye a shop for cards?
-Take away the Tifa pic in Tails' house. (Too unrelated!)
-Upgradable cards!!
-Oh, and SAVE slots (1 for each story you introduce)
Of course, this would take you a long time to make.. still, its well worth it! Just bring out, for now, another beta with a replayable sonic battle..

Multiplayer portal where each person joins a 'room' and fights!
