Yes I have played the game. Two thumbs up to it.
Graphics:
I did actually finish it to the end and I liked how you opened it up with the power slash move. Needless to say.... It was a little bit (lotta bit) tedious. It tested my patience. I would have liked for Ammy to move around a bit... with a more proportioned body (The head is too large for it =\)
Style:
It really isn't all to my liking and really just showed a disproportioned (yeah, I know I said that already) wolf with orange lines in few different positions somewhere in nature sitting motionlessly. Not the adventurous Ammy I know.
Sound:
Next, The music didn't actually come from the game and thusly didn't really have that same feel to it. If you were going fo relaxing though (and erm... boring) you hit a bullseye (not sure thats what they were going for what with all the fighting and Issun's comic relief). I Like the music for Okami only labled "Prologue" under "Presents from Issun" after you complete the game. It has a nice catchy, yet relaxing tune that doesn't lead you into boredom.

You hit the bird with water and it spun to the ground. Not that funny but after all that other stuff....
Overall I have to give you a four. You mostly focused on Ammy's abilitys with the celestial brush and ignored her personality. I'm glad NewGrounds has something related to Okami but this isn't exactly what I had in mind =\

Ok job. Based on a very good game.
*I've never made a flash movie, so tell me if I sound dumb about something.* I thought this was pretty cute and funny. The best part was the bird getting wet and falling in the lake. This movie shows some interesting things about the game, but you should have included Issun (a main character, so those who never played know) and maybe had Ammy do a big howl. But overall I thought it was good. I would vote it a 3 on the voting thing, and give it a 6 on the overall category here. Best of luck on any future submissions.
To tell you the truth...
That wasn't exactly the best flash I've ever seen...and this is really my first time seeing an animated tribute. The graphics kinda sucked...starting with Amaterasu...the marks on Amaterasu are red, not orange. Not to mention you did not put enough detail into Amaterasu's look...she didn't look like a wolf...not even a wolf pup...and not to mention throughout the whole lash she kind looked the same...not to mnetion she had that smile...which btw was really weird. Plus the sound affects were really unessesary...they were like, 10 times loude rthen the music...which btw isn't really going to be my choice of music...I suggest the outro to Okami, "Reset" by Ayaka Hirahara. When you got to the fight with Oki...it was kinda lame how you just drew Amaterasu into a certain pesition and just made her enlarge in size...then go back to normal size. Not to mention the growling sound sounded like you made it yourself...and it sounded like a chihuahua. Plus, Oki looked freaking retarted. Oki looked like some crappy 7 year old drawing...and not to mention Oki's wolf form is supposed to be black...not blue. And again, Oki looked like no wolf. The only funny part was really the part when Oki gets pwned by the Cherry Bomb...and that wasn't even that funny!! Dude, when you get better at flashes, make a remake.

dude, its a fuckign flash movie, it doesn t demand perfection. geez youre MOM looks liek a chihuahua! but seriously youre just pickign at small details and im just starting to gewt better at flash and youre the only person who responded liek this.. so yeah.. and I was gonna use okami music but I looked everywhere and couldn t find any so thanks for the name Ill use it if I ever update it and I may consider some of youre picky small details.
