I come here for critique and reviews to make my self better. so a little more detail in where I went wrong would be very helpful, so please elaborate. and please don't say the mirrors, I know their way off but the smoothing groups wasn't willing to work for nothing.

what are you trying to improve? Modeling, texture, lighting? Indeed this looks like it took alot of work however, add some texture to it try to make it look real. Experiment with the materials settings and put in some chrome in those rims. Im not sure what program you use but if you are using Maya 2009 work with mental ray and you will get a better (time consuming) render.

this was done in Max '08, but I have rigged in in Maya '08.
I must admit I love the way that Maya's standard render looks, but I'm not as good with materials in maya as I am in max.
But your right, I should go back and rough up the map a little to give it a more realistic feel.

Of course it took a lot of work, but i gave 7 for the materials.. the problem is that everybody knows that a car has it own shiny style. And the way it is, your car can be made in illustrator. Try working on the chrome, as grimm said =) Don't think this review as bad... as it look, i really hope other works!

it's so much wasier to do chrome on older cars. mostly because they don't have those unified bumpers. and I don't see this as a bad review, a good friend once told me "you learn little from victory, but much from defeat"
