Its good but...
This isa realy good tut but, no offense, its a little confusing for a newbie. Im working on a game and i understand movement but i cant figure out hit test and health bars ect.

Excellent tutorial! I love it. Haven't yet had a read through everything but a lot of what's in there will definately help me with a game I'm supposed to be making.
Thankyou very much for releasing this game now, when I really do need it. Any earlier and I would have dismissed it and never seen it again. But now that it's set to my homepage, I won't forget about it.

I love this tutorial, I need to learn flash for my C.I.D.A gcse in ict for multimedia and hove to make a game... I want it to be orridginal and want to get a good grade so things like this are the sort of thingd you need to learn flash... if you just copy action
scripts your not learning anything!

thanks i am new to flash, and am hopeing to soon be able to make good enguf flash games to release to the public, and this helped with a few things i was haveing trouble with
its good but......
ive been looking everywhere for a code that will let the charecter go to a diffent area instead of falling of the screen example
in a platformer if you go off the edge of the screen you fall off the "ground"
i want to go to a diffent part of a map or somthing so next tut you make could you include somthing like that
