Another song...

That brings back the Deus Ex series lol...great job. Gets a feeling of bad ass walking down the street in shades and a trench coat...of course looking bad ass as well lol...

A great piece.

Although nothing in the song is unnecessarily complex, it still retains a fair degree of depth and originality. The bass was the real highlight in this piece, with a nice crisp bright sound which really worked well in this case. The strings in the introduction set off a great atmosphere and added a nice sense of blend in the intro. The main section with that fast melody on that synth was great, and the bass managed to retain its presence without blocking everything else out. Great job. The drums too were decent, although they got a bit repetitve towards the end. The outro was a great anticlimax too. Other than that, i think this song is well on its way to perfection. Brilliant work.

SCORE:
Intro = 2/2
Outro = 2/2
Blend = 1.5/2
Transitions = 3/3
Bass = 2/2
Originality = 2/3
Drums = 1.5/2

Darklight

I love the feeling.

The feelings/emotions that this song elicits is absolutely beautiful. I love the drums that you put into the song. I can tell that you put quite a bit of thought into them. Just the right mount of bass to fit with the melody. I just wish it was longer...

Overall, great song 5/5 9/10

Well...

i am extremely impressed in your progress nate. i've been listening to your stuff from way back. sure some people don't like your new styles/genres but to the real fans it shows how you have matured in your musical talent. true artists such as yourself experiment with their music, they try different approaches despite peoples' opinions. you truly are awsome nate.

Great stuff, but simple progressions.

You certainly mixed up the genres, that's for sure.
Starting with the levels, it's all hearable and at a point where nothing is overpowered or underpowered. Excellent work on that.

Now for the composition... ummm... I like it, the instruments you used had a great effect on the song, and the scale(s) you used were used very well. The progressions were extremely simple and I know you could have at least added 2 more notes to that progressions and made it better.
But the progressions aren't supposed to be the drawing point, they supposed to help flow the melody, so let's look at the melody. All I can really say is that the melody is good, the right effects were used at the right times, and yeah...
Great work!
