HOLY HEFFALUMPS!

Dude, I've been listening to this 6 times in a row on loop in the library at my college. This stuff is keeping me pumped for the mountain of homework I have ahead! Thanks for the righteous tunes! Keep pumpin out beats like this :)

MashedByMachines responds:

Better not play it to loud in a library :D

I certainly will be doing more of these songs :)

It shows.

How long has it taken you to work on this song?

MashedByMachines responds:

a couple of hours a day for a week or so :)

good good

00:00 - 00:13 Very nice intro Mastering was good how the drums didn't drown out the guitar

00:14-00:27 - Loved the sound lots! Gave me the old skool gamer feel :) The harmonies used were awesome, as were the guitar harmonies but it would of sounded better In my opinion if you faded the guitar in, but thats just opinion so I wont down your score because of it,

00:54 01:08 Starting to get a bit to much going on but still nice
01:08 01:20 Drums got drowned out at times but still good.

Over all I really liked this song :) But most of all the harmonies at the start! :)

5/5

MashedByMachines responds:

Thanks! yeah there are many things goin on at times, I guess it can be too much maybe :)

Thank you!

WOW!

I've never heard a fusion quite like this before! Generally songs are either 8-bit or not, but I've never heard a song with layers that are both 8-bit and normal quality! This sounds absolutely incredible together! The synth and metal go together like a double helix, and the outcome sounds very natural!

The one thing I thought would have been really clever is if you had a question in 8-bit or on guitar, and have the other part provide the answer. With two sounds that are so much different, you've got a lot of things to play with. You've barely scratched the surface here!

MashedByMachines responds:

Ah, I see what you mean! Like a dueling melody with one part beeing the guitar and one the synth :D great idea!

Actually if you liked this, stay tuned for 2 more songs like this coming up on my new (free) album later this month :)
