10 and 5 for you dude. I love your very straight forward purpose and delivery of the message. Its great to see musicians with faith putting stuff out into the secular arena without reservation or watering down.

Nice guitar work too. Like the huge sounds and the contrast with the softer keyboards. It sounds like the drums and piano are midi, but that's fine, since the mixing is pretty good.

I just think that when you write songs, you could sing higher because it sounds a bit dull in the lower registers. You have some grit in your voice that sounds good, and adds an edge, but it would be intensified if you it higher with more emotional edge. You seem like you're holding back. I mean like scream your lungs out sort of intensity would be awesome. Like have us feel the intensity of the song and we would be blown away.

Wow, thank you for the detailed review!

This song came together surprisingly quickly. We looked at the lyrics and the tempo, and realized we had a template song that matched up almost perfectly. So we wrote them together and it came out really nice.

Neither of us are much for professional singing, but your critique is well appreciated. In the future, we'll do our best to keep finding passion. Although, to be straightforward about it, neither of us have a real high vocal range. We're gonna keep workin on it though.

One of the better gospel rock songs I've heard

I really enjoy this song, I'll have to show it to my youth leader soon. I'm not a big fan of gospel rock, but this one is pretty good, the guitar sounds pretty awesome.

If you sing about something you believe in, that doesn't make you an "ass kisser".

Thanks for the props...honestly, we do believe in Jesus and all that good stuff.

However, we make music simply to make music. We found a great beat, with a good tune. It's a bonus putting some kind of good message out there, but really, we just wanted to make music.

truely glorified

i am surprisingly amased to see a religious song on newgrounds. its quite unusual. personally i believe in Jesus, and i'm not a perfect christain, but it made me think about my actions.

for some helpful criticism, i would like to point the fact that the sound quality makes it sometimes hard to understand the lyrics or hard to hear some of the instruments. i truely didnt notice the changed lyrics (yet i havent heard the original for some time). you guys did an exellent job on this piece and i hope you do more songs like this.

The vocal are a bit lost and muddy due to the equipment we use. but thank you and keep the faith, brother.

The lyrics weren't changed much; we added some bridges leading into the choruses, and stylized the lyrics, that's pretty much it.

I suppose we could start putting up lyrics for the songs....but thats a lot of typing, and we just wanna make music (because we love it), and get it out there for people to enjoy/hate. =) Thanks for the review!
