very fun! i got all exept west Europe so the worlds dead exept 80000 people who are completly untouched... dident think that was possible.

Creative definatly
Despite the creativity, its actually kind of scary once you think about it. Definatly a challenge however and unique gameplay.

Although I do agree with some of the earlier suggestions like more news.
Very creative.
I always wanted to create total genoicide although i was hoping for something more violent... but this was very impressive. i started by first intentionally lowering my deathtoll (by turning feaver and vomitting off temporarily) so the infected people would infect others, also it helps to turn the (humans only) option off. then make it water and airborn, and work the resistances, and then once everyone in the world is infected change from all the lower visibilty to more leathal things such as organ failure and immune system. my score was only 6,000 my first try so see if you can beat it.
Very unique and addictive
I was actually really impressed with this submission.
I'm into this kinda stuff too, so yeah, i really liked it.
I like the whole idea of ending the world in a very realistic fashion, hehe.
My suggestion though;
Makes the population numbers more realistic.
There are about 6,525,170,264 people in the world (according to an article from july 2006)
so figure out the population of each of your countries, and eliminate the fractions (like if there are 3,347,192,967 people in asia, make it 3 or 3.5 billion)
I think that would add alot of length to the game.
Another thing you might try is adding more news breaks, and maybe to add realism, make a seperate news page, with a news paper page, or a T.V screen showing sick people, hospital beds, riots, ect.
And on the screen where you can evolve your strain, maybe add an illistration, so you can see the cell and all that, and like, every time you upgrade, something new will happen on it.
Like, it'll grow a new little tentical or, or change color, or attack the human cells differently. Something like that would be a great addition to the experience.
Maybe even have a dummy on the side, so you can see what it does to people. And you could even have an x-ray button, so you can see their organs or something. What it's doing inside their bodies.
Basicly, the only problems i had with the game were:
I wish it was longer (maybe eliminate the turn limit)
I also thought you should be able to choose the first effects of the strain (Coughing, fever, vomiting, ect.)
Like maybe start out with a few points to work with and pick some minor symptoms.
And then i thought it would be more fun to be able to choose where it starts.
There should also be more transmissions.
Like maybe add Sexual transmission, or physical contact.
but yeah, anyways...

i thought it was a great game, but it could be so much more.
If it's alright, i'm interested in helping, if you'd like to update it a little.
I'm skilled in photoshop, i'm a good at studying things (like learning about viruses) and i have some minor flash experience( search "Savior: Chapter One")
And i have a huge imagination, i'm told.
And i think i would really enjoy working on this further with you guys. You wouldnt even have to give me credit.
