Fun time waster

It was fun. I think that you really should have explained the powerups to though becuase for a long ass time I though S meant slow so I avoided them at all costs then I finally accidentaly hit one and bam I love them.

Graphics: 6 There wasn't anything to in depth there but what there was was nice.

Style: 8 I am just a games person and I haven't played a flash game all night so I was probably really nice to you there.

Sound: 7 I was generous becuase that song got annoying quick. I think the reason you got a 7 was because it made me laugh when they laughed and I couldn't figure out why.

Violence: 1 The guy hit a boulder. That is obviously violence so I can't give a 0.

Interactivity: 4 Really low for a game becuase you really only used 3 buttons the whole way through. That just isn't enough for me to give you a higher interactivity score.

Humor: 5 There was something about that guy hitting a boulder that made me laugh.

Overall: 7 I liked it but I am pretty sure that you could pull off better.

good one

that was a pretty sweet game. i can definitely see why this one won an award and made it onto the NG front page. this one was a load of fun.. had some great drawings/graphics in it, great audio from the audio portal, some sweet gameplay, it was a major blast to play and your efforts rocked in it as well.

A great game.

I really liked this, but it had lots of room for improvement.

The trees that you passed really put you off, I couldn't see and now I have a realy head-ache. Which kinda' put me off playing the game again.
It also seemed very hard at times, maybe it was on perpose, but you couldn't get something without plummeting through rocks and objects.

That said it stil is an enjoyable game, and I loved it were you gave an overview of the end performance.

^^Good Points^^
A new twist on an old classic. Reminds me of the good old kitten cannon game, but with this you have a lot more control over the outcome. The controls were simple and fun to play with. The graphics in this game were great, especially the backgrounds and use of effects. Also good sound effects.

^^Needs Improving^^
Nothing really to complain about here, very cool game.

object, but it didn't

I loved the voices and cheers, alongside the way you use the variable sound volumes to indicate when we're slowing down.

The 'fast' tune did get a bit dull after a while and even when the blue bar was at the top, I felt like I wasn't moving as fast as I'd like. I reckon maybe you could've had more major speed-ups at the start and allowed them to boost you beyond that point, wherupon you'd zoom to crazy speeds. Or maybe just make the x-speed faster all the time. It wouldn't make the game any easier - only harder if anything, as we'd have less time to react.

I think I'd have personally enjoyed it a lot more if the acceleration was faster (in the y-direction). I felt like often, if the speed-up was on the other side of the screen, even if I immediately started moving to it, I'd still miss it. Staying in the middle is not always an option, with the rocks.

Also, with certain formations of rocks, I felt like the random number generator was more at fault for my performance than any actual decision I'd made or whatever.

Maybe if the speed-ups were always in the rings, that'd help eliminate the feeling of chance, as we'd have more of a 'warning' about where it may pop up. Although that may make it too easy...

I did notice that folk have gotten 3x my score and I'm not sure how much is due to skill, how much due to perseverence and luck, but I'm guessing a majority of the latter.

Fun for a while, with great use of sound and voume control of the sound object, but it didn't have as great a sense of speed as I'd like and felt like my failures were often the fault of the RNG and the sluggish controls.
