Oh my... GOD! :O

Just... can't describe how this song makes me feel! the organs and the choir and and and!!! It's Just Epic!!! Nicely done!

Great piece! You want a story? I'll give it a shot

For years, the sinister wizard, disguised as a holy priest, brought corruption to the church. Now all his plans were about to come to fruition. The clergy, now completely brainwashed, their minds bending to his every whim, would not stand in his way. No, in fact, they would assist him now. "Chant, my monks!" exclaimed the wizard. And the cathedral resounded with the sound of the forbidden chorus. Nothing stood in the way of his plan to resurrect the demon. Now all he needed was a vessel. The hero of the land, who thought the dark wizard was vanquished once and for all, had learned how foolish a hope that was. The bell tolled, ringing far and wide for the whole city to hear, including the hero. It was time. Surely, he would be on his way now, thought the wizard, for a final showdown to save his friend. She was to be sacrificed as a vessel for the demon should the hero fail to show, but of course, he would be here. Little did the hero know that he, of pure and courageous heart, was the perfect vessel for the demon. "Yes, I can see it now," thought the wizard. "The people will watch on in terror as the very hero they once adored becomes a vessel to evil incarnate and brings destruction to the land!" The evil priest began to play the forbidden melody upon the church organ. How ironic, he thought, that the instrument once used to play holy songs of worship would now play a song to herald death and destruction. "Sing, my choir!" and they began to sing the forbidden verse. Everything was in place. The dimly lit hall of the cathedral seemed to be growing darker. The girl, bound and gagged and lying upon the alter, sensed a sinister presence. She feared her time had come. Slowly from the floor of the cathedral, a dark form rose, seeming lured by the sound of the music reverberating through the once sacred room, now desecrated. As if in mourning, the bell began to toll again. The hero knew he had to hurry. "Any moment now," thought the wizard. The choir began to sing the last verse, and the evil figure made its way towards the girl, when suddenly, it turned to the door. Through the doors of the once great hall burst the hero. The hero ran forth, brandishing his sword of light, and the demon lunged. This decisive battle would bring a final resolution. Success of the hero meant the salvation of the girl, and all humanity. Failure meant the enslavement of humankind.

At this point, the extended version of the song ends, and the actual battle is told through the original version, since that actually sounds like a battle. Who wins? Does the hero prevail, defeating the demon, who drags the wizard back down to hell with him? Or does the hero fall, as the wizard rejoices for a few moments watching his nemesis become possessed, only to find that the demon is beyond his control, and proceeds to destory the wizard? You decide.

Well, I hope you liked it, Phyrnna. Oh yes, and if you couldn't tell, the setting remains the same as in your description, along with the general concept, or at least I tried to keep the general concept. Night in a city in the Renaissance era, bell tolls the time, a man with a vision and a plan (perhaps darker than you imagined?), the song progresses as the plan unfolds. I haven't written fiction in a few years, so I hope you don't find it too cheesy. I tried to do what I could in the space provided and the time I had. Well, keep up the amazing work. You're an awesome composer!

I wonder if you're still reading these reviews on a song that was released over half a year ago or if you just forgot... I hope not.

Overall a wonderful peice

The story starts off with our heroes looking over at their destroyed world. the old bell tower rings in the distance. then their conversation begins. the speak of ways to defeat the wretched people who caused their world to end up like this. then they have a flash back to the day the chaos began. all of their friends and family have died trying to fight the bad guys and their shadowy demon minions. they split up going their separate ways promising to meet with each other back at the bell tower once their assignment has been completed.

Very Nice.

I have to say, I, for some reason, envision a dark cathedral (Opening) some powerful Anime-eque villian appearing in person (Bell) and reveiling his final move to the main hero/heroine(s) of the story, and even beginning to enter battle with or even stomp the crap out of said hero/heroine(s) (Later parts) o.O The 2nd Bell stage would seem to be all hope is lost even, as the darkness begins to swallow the cathedral from the villian and the hero/heroine(s) lay stuggling to stand across the ground.

As a Story-teller, it does quite well for those who have a good imagination, and even as just a normal theme, it's still nice.
