holy fucking shit.

last couple days, ive been wathcing Rocky 2/4
i am listening to the rocky music aswell,
when i was in the portal i was like.
men, i hope they dont embares(bad grammerlol)
but when i played it, it was a feeling going back to 80/90's games
as in Double Dragon and River City.
but somehow the story didnt made a point, but the(the fightinh on the streets) scripting/spriting probaly took allot of time.
i hope the next one you make will have like .....10 different movements, although, i cant complain i dont know how to work with Action Scripts X_x. Nice job guys, for Real, aplaus yourself <3

River City Ransom all over again

The sprites were kick-ass(were they handmade?) Anyways, I didn't like that when i held the power button, the guy punched me and i fell, that power punch was just too slow. You should have included a kick at the bottom for the controls, instead of the tiring sit action because basically the block and the sit action can both defend against an attack, but when you get up from the sit, a guy hits you.

perfect replica of SNES and Genesis gaming

reminded me much of Streets of Rage 2 which i enjoyed greatly back in the day, with the segways reminding me of the guys with knives, the mafia reminding me of those knife chucking guys, and the lasso lady reminding me of the whip lady

Graphics: not great at modern standards but you appeared to be replicating an older gaming era, so it fit in perfectly with that, 10

Style: original with starring Ivan Drago, perfect replica of an older game, not much else to say, but it deserves a 10

Sound: the old electronic style music, the sound effect on the hit and the gun shooting, just great

Violence: lots of punching and shooting and stuff, fine by me, 9

Interactivity: simple controls but that can be expected, i just wish there was a sort of special move available

Humor: hitting random people, and the names and styles of some of the characters

Overall: more than likely the best game i have seen or will see on newgrounds for quite a long time, i look forward to a sequel (include special moves and points which to post on a high score board please) 10

Ivan drago is always and ingredient for perfection, love this game way to go.
