Reviews for "Warriors of Aidoios - P2"

Nice.

It was well-choreographed, but some of the movements didn't look very believable. They tended to be too slow to be bought as the movements of people trying to kill each other. There are a couple parts that work well with the stop-motion, but others that would benefit from a video camera. You've got potential as a fight choreographer, but you could be a better overall director.

bleh, not so much

Uhhh i understand the fact that you did it with stills, but you still couldve had your actors movements a bit more fluid. Looked like crappy robots that needed lubing. Overall good idea, alirght movie.

Very nice effort.

I really never thought of trying to take digital photos and string them together in flash.

What you've done here is fresh, but it needs real refinment.
The motion is robotic most of the time, and the hits lack a look and feeling of real impact. The locations were very nice though, good job with picking them. The outfits weren't bad either, and you guys looked good in them, so you have those things going for you.

All you really need to do is create some better way to link the frames together while keeping it fluid. Experement with things like
shooting multiples of each frame and cutting some of them out to play with the speed of the resulting "movement". Looking forward to your next effort.

Getting better

The animation during the slow-mo sections of the movie were still a little stiff, but you're getting better. Can't wait for part 3. :)

Action seems Stiff and slow, but interesting!

I watch'd both videos so far (watched part 1 when it first came out, re-watched it for a refreshment) and overall its a good style with the stills, but i think the action seems a little stiff and slow. Most acions are very under-exagurated and its like every move doesn't phase them. Like the time when he just barely grabbed his sword from the ground, he then blocks a strike as he is laying. He didn't make any reaction taking the block and the girl flew back all so sudden.

Another thing is that the combat seems slow. Most times when you see someone strike with a sword, its almost instant. With this, you can see every frame for atleast a good half second, taking 3 seconds for the weapon to strike... making it look REALLY slow. The last part of the combat though with the flashing show'd massive improvement between both the First movie and this one.

Other than that, im enjoying the style and the girl is beutiful! Be sure to tell her that :). Don't kill her off though, even if it does come to the end of the series, cause if she dies... we'll make a movie about me coming after you for killing them off :)

Keep up the goodwork, just show a little more reaction and speed up the slashing and it'll be beyond amazing!
