I've gotta say that I preferred the original. It was a lot shorter, and often that can be a good thing. It was good for the "trance" genre, and kept people listening.
This one just kind of disintegrates down to the fx at the end.

Ok. So why again? Because its too long? The only criticism you gave was for the outro. Too much FX? That's fine, but what did you think of the additions? The breakdown? The modified chorus? Its cool that you don't like it, everyone has their own preference, but be more specific.
IMHO, I liked the first 22 seconds of the song than the rest of it combined. I was very disappointed when the style of the music changed so dramatically after I found it so pleasing.
I think it would be great if you could take the first 22 seconds and develop it into its own song.
I actually like GD's cut version better. Some parts of this go on WAAAAAAAAAY too long. It gets tiring listening to the same melody for such a long time.
Also, the 3/4 part in the beginning should have been something separate.
