Reviews for "Flames of Fury"

Meh...

It was quite entertaining... until it got to the point where it was ridiculous. I mean, to go back and forth, back and forth for resources was quite repetitive.

I gave you a 5 on humor because of what happens when your nest is destroyed. "Your dragon's nest has been destructed!" xD It's AYB all over again.

Almost perfect....

First off, the good:

This was an innovative idea. Good graphics, but not too good to overload an average system in Flash. Weapon choices, making it a game that requires more than an itchy mouse finger. Resource gathering was, interesting. It didn't crash/die on me, which is always a plus. I liked the fact that you could run out of ammo, see itchy trigger finger comments.

Now the could use improvment:

The dragon handled poorly, particulary when you were in a hurry to get somewhere.

There were only 6 enemy targets, and 4 of those (control center/factory, attack/repair helis) were just clones of each other.

Suggestions:
More enemies.
Put a numeric value on the gas vents as well as a bar gauge.
Maybe make a larger screen reliative to the dragon? It seemed more than a bit cramped.

Great game

I believe going to the website doesn´t work. I allowed pop-ups and stuff, but when I got to the site it said: You are about to see "flames of fury " and it counted 3,2,1,0 and then nothing happened. I refreshed the page a few times, but the game just wouldn´t start. Really too bad, cause I really wanted to play on. But, I´ll just review for the first few levels then.

It´s a very nice game in my opinion. It looked really good with the 3D effects and all that. The game really requires a lot of patience, you need to fly around a lot gathering all resources and have to pick your targets very carefully. You can´t just fire away on every unit or building you see, and I liked that. I also liked the music and sounds. Only thing that wasn´t very good in my opinion was that the level designs were not that pretty. I mean, it was more made like a maze then some sort of landscape with rocks and stuff. I prefer something a bit more natural, I thought it looked a bit ugly this way.

Overall 8 out of 10, 4 out of 5. Really liked it a lot, but such a shame that I couldn´t play on after the third level. I would really love to see the rest of it. Anyway, congrats with your award, keep up the excellent work

Nicely done!

Not a bad idea for a game. Although I could have changed the diction a little, it's a pretty cool idea. I'm not sure how one dragon can continue the species, unless dragons are asexual =p

Interesting game, and very much appreciated save function. The limited supply of ammunition, that is, a very innovative resource collection system, was genius. It restricted the game in a number of ways that challenges the player to attack strategic targets. It's sort of a military-style game, which is ironic because the military (for some reason) are out to get the last remaining dragon.

The sound effects, and especially music, got tiring over a long period of time, but overall a clever little game that takes a while to fully master. Didn't have time to play all of it because it's indeed a very long game to pass, but I did enjoy the first few stages. Excellent work on such a simple and yet challenging game.

Excellent work but as stated, something is missing

The "missing" thing that is being talked about is a stationary ammo. Could be something simple. Doesn't have to be fire, it could just be "Breath". It would do crap dmg, but would be infinite. Cuz many times I've had probs scrambling to the nearest H and S stations to refill cuz I was out of fireballs, and came back from destroying buildings to see copters heading to the nest. Otherwise I thought this was a WONDERFUL job on your behalf
