Same Old, Same Old
While I do complement you on not having your movie attack the entire nation of Afghanistan and target only the suspected culprit behind the Sept. 11th attacks, I must never the less voice some displeasure with the movie. Granted that this is a much more lighthearted treatment of a difficult subject than I have had to review in past movies, I am still having a displeasure for its general idea. That is inciting people to kill. I think of killing as morally wrong and terrible in and of itself, no matter who does it, and whether or not it is for the sake of murder, war, or "justice". I myself adhere to a pacifistic view and anti-death penalty, but even if one agrees with the death penalty, there's still the fact that killing bin Laden over trying to arrest him will just make more people enraged at the US, especially in our current roundabout method of trying to get him. Besides, his own warped mind will probably lead him to destroy himself anyway before we can reach him.
