Great game...
I love defense games, and this one was particularly addicting. I love the concept. Great great game. Their were a couple of gliches but they were very minor, for example sometimes two of the enemies would be on top of each other and you couldn't make out the word that you were supposed to type, but that didn't make it any less fun. I demand a sequel.

But if you're going to make a game about spelling things correctly to protect yourself from the evil forces, then you can't have spelling mistakes *brings attention to "Glair" and "Jumk", that second being unrecognizable by the game as either jumk or junk (Which is what I assumed it was) and what eventually caused my downfall. I know Newgrounds isn't the place to be a grammar nazi, but if you're going to make a game like this, you leave yourself open for such reviews.
Interesting concept overall, though. You could market this to beginning spellers. If you make another version, you might want to consider changing the detonate to different long words (eight letters plus) that take out only words on the screen that have the same letters as the word you spelled. (For instance, Gargantuan would get rid of grape, tan, and nag, but not ice.)

Not really...Just because it seems impossible to you, it doesn't have to be impossible to others.
I know some people that could easily get first without using detonate at all except for on impossible.
Then they might need to use it a little.
