good but frustratingly random

Overall it was very good, I liked the style of the art but it would have been nice to have more variation in the enemies and more differences between the attacks as well as the different weapons.

There diden't seem to be much of a point of the regular and magic attacks, once I got my first special I never used them again. Also, the defense special diden't actually seem to do anything - I took about the same amount of damage when I used it as when I diden't (though, it was hard to tell because of the VERY random damage enemies did)

It is way too random. sometimes an enemy would hit me for like 100, sometimes for over 2000. also it is very, very frustrating to get something like 20 coins sometimes when other times you get over 1000.

The last boss was way, way too hard also. I had to spend 45 min (me? obsessive? no!) running in circles killing things in 1 shot over and over to get enough coins to be able to beat him. leveling up faster, or making the boss a little easier would be nice.

the saves messed up

I saved my game on the 1st level after getting the key and weapons, and when i loaded the game, the key and weapons were gone. But about the game itself, the weapons didnt seem to really do anything, the encounters got really repetitive and boring and the same music after awhile got pretty monotonous as well. I did like how you had to get the skills to ensure your survival, and what exactly did the battlelevel do other than make the opponents tougher?
overall a pretty well done game that could use a few tweaks.

Ooh.. the halloween feeling

This was a very good game, despite of some catches. And it gave me a good halloween feeling ;)
I gues that some of the catches vere because of the deadline you mentioned, and i don't think I need to write hem down since everyone else has.
Otherwise, I think the plot was quite interesting (though I did not finish the game), and the main character looks realy cool.
The "experience" system was a good idea, I think it just needs some more work.
