I knew you had this in you.....My only beef with this is towards the end when she goes over to the Potions shop to wake him up....The words go by so fast I actually had to stop the animation to read everything in the frame....And to the rest of the people who critiqued your work....All honest commecnts (Except bitch master, who is just a retard and wouldn't know good cinema if it raped him) I think you do regard comments too harshly though....but that isn't a bad thing...I think that just makes you wanna push the envelope some more...I cannot wait for the next part....And yes I am a 56k modem user and yes I will wait again for the next part....You don't have to have a DSL/Cable connection to enjoy this work....
I've never seen this anime movie.
But from what I've heard, it has a very interesting storyline. Anyhow, I liked your animation for Kiki. Her hair was flowing quite well, and the animation of her getting up was nicely done. The music fit the overall tone and feel of this type of anime film. I know effort when I see it. I can tell that a bit of effort was put into this short film. Good job.
Honest Review
First off, I think you care a bit too much about what other people may think of your work. You don't need to concern yourself with what others think, just make what you wanna make. The file size, due to the frame by frame, is obviously too large for people without DSL/Cable or better. The plot may or may not be able to take the place of a lack of action or comedy but not in such a small amount like this one. If I were you, I'd take my talent, time, and artistic abilities and create something that the public can enjoy.
