Brings me back to the days of Ace combat

Simply amazing.. i do agree that added emotional animations wouldn't hurt, and in regards to the enemies flying off screen, i don't see that a big problem unless you limit them (if possible) to not attacking while they're off screen. *shrugs*

all in all, simply amazing. i'll tell you the truth, i clicked on the link in the flash portal expecting some movie about some birds, not an amazingly fleshed out storyline on top of a well tweaked and finely tuned air combat simulator in the vein of some of my favorite arcade games. you guys get a 5 from me.

Good, but some things that made it less enjoyable

I found this game amusing, but there are a few things that kind of bug me.

1) The enemy can fly off screen. This wouldn't actually be too bad, but they are invincible during this time. It could be fixed, by making it so that turning fully is possible, or if you don't want that, that you are given a speed limit, and you can get futher/closer to the enemy.

2) It'd be nice to have a friend with you instead of you being alone. It's like back-up is coward-like. I love how the enemies can attack each other though. One used a nova-laser, and destoryed the other plane. It had emp-chargers left. That made the level so easy. Other times, 6 in the same spot and I'm in front dosen't work out so well for 1-3 enemies and me.

3) Can you have pictures of emotion? Happyness when somebody dies isn't right. Also, can you make this a movie? It'd be wonderful to watch a small little war happen. As long as there are dates.

UMMM

The game would be great if it was at all possible.

Hard to enjoy this one

The intro is fantastic. The animation and appearence of the planes looks great! However, this game doesn't really set itself out to train the players for what awaits them in the arcade version.

Down side to the arcade game is that it's too difficult to play. I tried the arcade version 6 times and each time I didn't have much of a chance. Perhaps if you alter the difficulty settings or add more of a trainer to the game, it might help.

I also got confused when I was running through the tutorial. Upon completing the tutorial, I thought that the practicing flying mission was the actual game. When I started to play the practice mission, I was just flying around and never did I see a single enemy.

Other than that which I mentioned above, the game looks and sounds great.

Alright.

I was apsolutly loving the intro. That was great
