This is one of those rare times...
... where the sequel is better than the original.
Although it looks pretty much like the original there's something that just makes it look neater. The added features were great, made things a lot more interesting, that evil sphere was a bitch. I liked the screen between each difficulty setting, it was nice to get a break between every ten levels. Level editor was a master stroke.
It was a shame to see that the strobe effects from the last levels of the first game didn't appear in this one. The soundtrack, while playing throughout the game this time, was better constructed in the first game. Not that I'm complaining (much) but the whole game is spent getting from top left to bottome right. I don't know if it'd work well but different spawn and goal points could add a bit of spice.
If you're going to do another one I'd like to see what you add. Difficulty options might be good (the option to get through the game on X amount of lives or less responsive controls etc). I don't know what you could do for new obsticles; a different sort of evil sphere or reverse gravity fields or something.
Anyway.
Damn good game that's not a difficult as the previous but much more entertaining. If you make another, I look forward to it. If not, it'd be cool to see what else you come up with.
