Biggest let down was the music...
I thought this was great. Stylish, dark, enough gore to keep me happy but where it dropped a few points was the music. The drum and bass wasn't heavy or mean mean enough to carry the action. It wasn't a long wasy off but just lacked that edge.
Apart from that - good work fella!!
That was pretty damn good
That was good to see a "serious" short instead of all those random CC/LL/whatever flashes. The animation was great and so were the graphics. Maybe my opinion is influenced by the fact that I'm a fan of Richard James but the music fitted in perfectly.
Oh and by the way, the real name of the song that's playing throughout the scene is "Monkey Drummer", just to let you know.
By the way, "Monkey Drummer" is only the name of the videoclip that Chris Cunningham made for this track, "mt saint nichel + saint michael mount" IS the right name. Just to let you know ;)
Good overall
This was an excellent film yes indeed, but the only problem i had was how did he get there to begin with and how did he not die when surrounded but what seemed like thousand army (WITH GUNS) unable to shoot a man with a sword. but hey great film it was great.
Very Nice.
Very sharp and detailed. That soldier that took off the hero's mask deserves the Medal of Honor, even though he's dead. I just wish it wasn't a " Elite swordsman surrounded by guys with guns" sort of plot. Other than that, this was very nice.

awsome work man but i must say..i think you should make a series out of this. Be very interesting and have this as the end of it or beginning if you wanted it to be.:D
