Yeah I don't get enough feedback for my music.
Nice!
You did a good job on this. I especially like the instrumentation.
My only complaint is that the piano part in the middle should've been longer - but only because it was so great.
You think? I thought the piano section was adequate length compared to the rest of the song, given the whole song is fairly short. I'll keep that in mind.
lol
it kinda made me high. 0_o
You better share some of that then.
Great job recomposing!
Recomposing is one of those tricks that one has to learn through practice and experience, not through any guide or class. You did a good job and kept it flowing, even the ending was good. I've tried and played around with chords I have taken from compositions and such... what do you use for your samples, Soundfonts? VST? They sound pretty nice.
Custom synths, some custom samples, and a little bit of soundfonts. I also like taking apart drum riffs by slicing and reinventing percussion sounds. I did that somewhat for the drums in this.
Very nice
This was a lot of fun to listen to because it had a very casual feeling going for it. I did not even recognize it as being "Sonic The Hedgehog" music at first, but it did seem familiar. I am not sure how it took me this long to review something this old for you. The thing I liked most about how it was how it had a very uplifting feeling to it. It is the kind of music that you want to hear in a light-hearted video game, even in Mario. The use of instruments was very stylistic, unless of course you did not use any of your own.
I created all the sound you hear, except for the piano samples, and the percussion is a hybrid of my sounds and other samples.
