Fun!
Killing strange enemies with bright yellow lasers 4 or more times the size of your ship has never been so fun. The game's very fast-paced yet not overly so, and it's still easy to get one's bearings- most of the time. However, with the screen shaking as it does and some of the enemies looking very similar to your ship, it can be easy in the later levels to become disoriented. I wish there were alternate weapons but I don't think the game's speed could remain the same while trying to remember which weapon you wanted, and the enormous lasers are plenty sufficient.
One thing I have a problem with, though, is that I never knew how much health I had. I never saw a bar or anything, I assumed maybe the corner in the bottom right would change colors but I don't think it ever did- or at least, I didn't notice it. A way to gauge one's health would be nice. Also, so would a way to turn off the music, not just the sound.
Overall, though, it's a really great game, and with the load time as small as it is this game's worthy of at least a 4, maybe even a 5.
