Reviews for "Silent Storm - Intro"

Impressive

Wow, that look really good, can't wait to see what happens. Oddly though, it reminded me of Starfox. Hmmm...

Nice! But....

It reminded me too much of StarFox...Hehe...Brings back memories, of StarFox64....Heh heh...Besides that it was great!

Scifer responds:

Hoorah for teh Starfox! x3 When I first started working on Silent Storm (and this flash), I took some influence from Starfox, seeing as I played it relegiously as a child. xD

But the story has evolved and moved on a LOT since then, like all good inspiration should.

Thanks for ze review!

Good intro

Kind of confusing as to the exact point of what's going on but for an inro that's exceptable. The video had some solid style though, switching from one seen to another and such by spinning objects into different shapes. An actual series with more of a plot would be something to look forward to.

awesome

nice work man. could ya tell me what that music was please?

Scifer responds:

Yup, that was Celldweller - 'Starts of Orion' , as it says at the end. :P

Interesting

Very cool little animation, especially the white on black pieces with scifer running around and shooting, which was rather nicely stylised. The only thing that bugged me was when duing the 'warp' scenes when the stars dissapeared into the white-ness, it was kinda obvious that you'd just used a square symbol with 'stars' on it and transformed it as you needed to (I can see why you'd do that though, animating each star individually would be a pain in the ass.). Appart from that it was pretty damn good.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you'll eventually come up with in the way of animation based on this story after seeing this and some of your other work on it. Keep up the good work!

Scifer responds:

Glad you liked! Thanks for the cool review. ^_^

And yes, it was actually a .jpg with lotsa stars on it. But shh, don't tell anyone. xD Hey, I didn't even know how to make symbols in flash when I made this.
