nice game,but

this game isnt bad.i liked your style,your ideas and everything else,but there were some mayor things,that were not ok:
The sound wasnt allways clear.
The loadingscreen wasnt shown,so i thouht it went down.
Bugs in the game(block and still geting hurt)
( sometimes not hiting though pressing the button)
Even,when i went crazy,you sill get 7 points,because of the fantastic idea and the good(not allways the quality) soundtrack in the back.I even liked the drawings.If you are able to correct those bugs,you could make it a really fantastic game.Just one more thing:I could only manage to beat the royal guard with a throwing dagger attack.Can you defeat him an other way?please tell me. GG.

Has potential

This certainly has the potential to be a good game. However, the animation is choppy in parts and the controls do not always seem to follow dorectly. I also noticed some instances where I did block but still got damaged.

Drawing style was decent, however in the tavern the scene flickered an image then went black, leaving the impression something got cut out. As others have said before, a try again screen would certainly help ratings as having to start a new game every time yout character loses a life gets very tedious.

And before you offer what seems to be standard advice, yes I did read and follow the strategy guide whch was helpful but still had difficulties with it. That may be my falt granted but there were also the bugs I noted.

With some more tweaking this may be a very enjoyable game

game wasnt very good ill put in points for interactivity but it reminds me so much of another game i just cant remember but anyway...... 5 outta 10..... XDXD

This game, unlike FC 1 and 2, has many flaws.

It is too hard. Even with the guide, I have no idea how to defeat the royal guard. You haven't explained sword fighting that well in the guide, and the music is too loud for me to hear the grunts. I have no doubt it is possible, but i have already tried several times. At one point I managed to damage him, but I'm not sure how.

To modify this, make it so that you can 'block' all the time if you want (i.e. put in a pause button so you can think), and so that you have more health. As it is, I have no idea how to make the character counter attack. Have more practise stuff at the start, and some weak foes. It is very hard beating enemies that can only die one way, and it doesn't improve your sword skill. If you could practise making openings, that would be easier.

Make the checkpoints work for every battle. I can kill the guard quickly, but it is boring to do so.

Give an option to turn down the sound.

Make the storyline more interesting. It would be better if he was rescuing a princess, and if he talked with someone (if you can't write dialoue, just get someone to help you). As it is, I don't care in the slightest whether anyone lives of dies.
