Love the idea of walking down a hall in the middle of some kind of sanctuary, holding onto nothing but a mettle rod you found lying about. your heart is thumping in your chest like a jack hammer. you hear a eiry "AaaaRRRRggg!" and the wall explodes!

depending on the thing that just blew a hole in the wall, the music would vary. most likely a rock song.
