People do use macro-programs, have the need to scam or be assholes for some reason and post junk on the RS forums. I can't see why they would pay for membership to post on the forums that it's gay though (for those who don't know the game is free but you pay to be a member and part of being a member being able to post on the forums). I've never done/or do any of this on RS but lots of people do.

before i quit RS, the forums went straight to hell.
if you created a new topic, it was zarped onto the second page within 5 seconds :-0 and i bet its worse now
i used a marcoing program once, that i got for free, and i got this account up to like 33 mining... but i never made any money off of it because i made better money on my main picking flax :-)
wow now im about 20% more glad that i dont play that anymore...

Yeah I know it's so addicting first day I played runescape and got up to lvl 70 my friend hacked me because well I guess I was better than him at it so yeah. For people who haven't played this I would recommend maybe to watch it but don't vote on it.

the week after i started playing runescape some... 3 years ago, i got up to cmbt level 18, and my friend at school got pissed off in computer lab and ran over and turned my comp off >:[
