Reviews for "In That Final Hour *C-Star*"

Awesome

Kind of has that kefka feel to it

CreamingStar responds:

Thanks for posting bro! You should check out the new one. I think it even tops this one in Kefkaness haha!

this song..it's almost like it hides a message.

may i also have this song because it fits in great with my RPG game

Good

Very good I like it.

Something like this will raise morale

I enjoyed listening to this all blended in to make a piece like this with a military touch like how Leoraga pointed out
The thing that won me was the feeling of not giving up when facing the odds

i like how the title fits the song so well i say bravo keep doing some good work ill keep tabs on your profile for updates : D

CreamingStar responds:

Thanks Zeta! I'll keep you posted with my work if youl'd like. RIght now I'm working on something a little more subdued. The working title is "Mysterious Forest" (Pretty cheesy eh? haha) Anyways, PM me if you'ld like to listen to the early version!

I don't know if the soldier will, but I will...

...deffinitively love this music. Classic pieces with a military touch are always welcome (at least to me). Moving to the actual (and kinda lacking) review:

Instruments (10/10): The military drums and dramatic strings created perfectly tha atmosphere of a battleground, kinda reminded me of some scenes I read from Bernard Cornwell's Adventures of Sharpe series. Dramatic and powerfull to the core!
Melody (10/10): I don't think I'm really able to judge this well since I know little to nothing about music, but I liked this very much. Could feel the sadness and despair of a soldier heading to the battlefield, explosions here and there making giant columns of smoke and ashes, bullets flying wildly over the battallion heads... Hate this word, but i will say it: epic.
Quality (9/10): The audio is pretty clear and volumes are OK, just wish this was played by a real orchestra... Anyway, the quality is still good enough to make this song go to movies or, at least, flash animations.
Loopable? Pretty much, yeah. The song wasn't acctualy meant for loop (at least is how it sounds) but it doesn't get annoying after several minutes of loop, on contrary, it stays as interesting as bloody battle can be.

Final comments: Extremely nice job, just wish I could better critiquize it (or at least with a better english) offer you useful tips, but... I can't, I'm just able to sit back and enjoy this fine piece. Thanks for transmiting all the complex feelings of a greenhorn heading to his first (and maybe last) battle. Keep up the good work (please).

CreamingStar responds:

Thanks for listening and the review Leoraga! You shouldn't be hard on yourself about your critique, though! Seems to me that you have quite the ear. I had a lot of fun working on this one, and I appreciate your comments!
