This is awesome. It strikes me as a blend of art-nouveau style with greco-roman themes and imagery. I love the contrast between the cool blues and pale moon of the background against the vivid red of the cape and blood mingled together. And the design of the demi-god is just perfect. 5 stars!
Thank you for your kind words, and yes! Everything you mentioned was a big part of my inspiration with tackling the aesthetic for this painting. I'm a huge Alphonse Mucha fan so a measure of his influence certainly has a hand in what I do!
