Reviews for "Problem with Nintendo Wii"

Sorry

I can't support someone SO rude to other people, automatically direspecting them of their Flash talent, putting people in ranks, the lower in cages. Overall, this wasn't the best I've seen. I hope you do much better in the future (I know, I know, 3 months). I see potential in this (mebbie a sequal), but this one was bad. Newgrounds is a competitive site, where only the few best survive, and all else fail. I'm sorry...

bkdude responds:

1: they were rude first, and should have read my comments before posting non-constructive shit and throwing it at me

2: no, not only do the best thrive. look at Fat_Badger. he has over 130 Flash submissions and is know by pretty much everyone that has been to Newgrounds for over a month. and look at IllWillPress. he is on the top, and his flash is nothing but a traced bitmap image for a background, overly-used emotes for foamy and all the other characters, and a 100% FF voice of someone using windows voice recorder for Foamy's voice. and thats about it.

3: why should i even bother arguing with someone who co-authored one flash submission, has 4 flash reviews, 0 bbs posts, and has less then 50 BP?

you obviously do not know what goes on around Newgrounds. watch some Flash by Fat_Badger, some DTs, and some AH:ATWI80D to know what really wins the portal

i don't like it

badly recorded music, poor animated, and crappy storyline, overall, pretty darn bad

bkdude responds:

very true. i made this only to prove a point, not to win everyone over on graphics :-)

I wrote this entire review from my wii...

...and do you know how? With a handstrap on! If you're so clumsy that you can't hold on to the control then wear the damn handstrap that comes with it or buy a rubber grip for the back yourself. I don't see how it's nintendo's fault you can't be arsed to do what they tell you on nearly every loading screen.

bkdude responds:

little kids dont like handstraps and that was what i was portraying in the movie. Most of the broken TVs reported due to "Wiimotes" being thrown at them (theres been about 40+ cases) have been from kids. you try getting a seven year old to keep one of those straps on for long.

Erm...

Ok...You kind of obviously made this flash within less then an hour, probly rushing through everything, and not putting enough effort to use "Straight Lines" (If you've ever heard of them) and ontop of this, you actualy watched a much MUUUUCH higher quality Wii-Warning video, and then wrought the following review:
""I beat you to it!"
infact, i beat everyone at making something stating the hazards of the Nintendo Wii. There is nothing made before september showing the tv-breaking problem :-)

so hahahahaha i beeet u hahahahhaa"

Ontop of this, you only showed the wii-mote, and everyone knows if your voice is high pitched in videos, it's because you're probly a kid who doesn't have an actual voice yet, (Well I'm only 13 so I can't realy go too far into that ._.; )
But honestly, stop gloating about having made this crap-ass film before the good ones came out...But, you had a Woud-Be funny ending, and for that, I give you a 1.
Next time you make a movie, use less crappy tools then the paintbrush for making a head, like maybe the oval tool?
And spent a lil time making sure it all looks good, okay?

bkdude responds:

1: I HAVE heard of straight lines, and I didn't feel like making this project too geometric.
2: the quality isnt supposed to be great. i made this to warn people about wii-hazards
3: my voice is NOT that high pitched. what i did, is i recorded my voice while talking really deep, then i sped the audio track 2x, making the track faster, and with a higher pitch.
4: I can gloat all i want. go visit the BBS or make some flash and you can gloat too.

Flash by kakashi-v2 : (none)

Flash by bkdude : 25

It's not necessary to 'swing' the Wiimote so hard. It only takes a light wave to make it work. Anybody that grips it loose and swings hard deserves to have their television broken. I mean, anybody with a brain could figure out that if you swing an object in front of something that there could be a possibility it might fall out and smack the object in front of you...

bkdude responds:

A young child, like the one portrayed in the video, does not know this. there are many videos online of kids of very young ages breaking televisions with various types of wiimotes under various circumstances.

Drunk adults do this as well.

Thank you for the well-thought-out review. I'm glad you didn't blatantly jump out and begin yelling at me like many others have. I do agree with you that people dumb/drunk/young enough to actually use their wii incorrectly do deserve their televisions broken :)
