Reviews for "Onslaught"

ok this was pretty bad...

gave u 5 for graphics, but if im not wrong most of them are not drawn by u? 0 for style because it basically rips off Beachhead...a PC game about the exact same thing. sound...lousy machine gun. violence...nothing's violent about that...no blood, no screams...u could do better. doesnt deserve to be on frontpage

hmm...

guy below me, stfu. just because he used sprites doesnt mean he sucks, ok? there are plenty of good sprite movies and games out there. This game could use a little work though. If i were a flash artist, i'd help ya, sadly im not. The overall graphics were ok, but they could use a little improvement. The machine did indeed make too little noise to be even close to realistic, and the people sunk into the ground as you killed them. i see why you did that last bit, cause it would take system resources to display all those corpses (over 50 in the first level!) The interactivity wasnt so grand. you could just hold the mouse button down and win no matter what. you could toss in the occasional grenade or something to make it more fun and psychotic. Practie ationscript and the like a little, you'll make a better game in the end. 3/5 for the effort.

Hey guy who reviwed b4 me.

The plane goes around the bunker a second time and dive bombs you. The troops get tp the wire and throws some Stielhandgranates.

Good idea, but needs a lot of improvements

This was ok, but it does need a lot of work to make it worthy of front page.

1) The machine gun just felt weak. Have you ever played call of duty? Thats the machine gun effect you want to be getting, loud and furious.

2) You need blood when you kill the soldiers, it just doesn't feel like a battlefield. You could have bodies piling up up but then clear them for each level.

3) More background effects. Smoke, shells going off, other sound effects and things like that would help it feel a bit more like a battlefield.

Was a good attempt though, the graphics were nice, especially the soldier animations. Definitley do a sequel, you have a lot of potential with this one.

Looks nice, but doesn't work

This looks like a great game, but it doesn't work. The machine gun never fires. Without firing, I have to rank violence, interactivity, and humor all at 0. It isn't funny if nobody dies. I'm using Safari on Mac OS 10.4.7 on a Macbook with 2GB of RAM.
