The song is good,
but the kick is a bit loud. But I'll give a 10/10 score because of creativity and the lead synth is original.

Melody: 1/2- It's not bad. I think that you did well making a mesmerizing lead here. I felt myself drifting off into thought and dazing out a couple times.
Drums: 2/2- I really liked it at the beginning, it got a little repetitive at times though. However, I liked the beat that was being repeated, so it's alright with me.
Bass: 1/2- Techno requires bass, and while you have it, I dont think you used it properly. I think you could have even used a synth pad and made it low octave to use on this song. It has such a mystic quality to it.
Instruments: 2/2- Cant beat what instruments you have here in this song. Everything is mixed right, gives it that mystical quality. The bass instrument should have been changed.
Mood: 2/2- As I said multiple times, it really has a deep and mystical quality to it, its incredibly easy to listen to and doze off to.
OVERALL 8/10- I really like this- good work!

Powerful concept , if only some leads were changed
Overall the track was not bad, for trance on newgrounds it's pretty decent. I highly recommend that you get more technical with your leads and pads. Automation does wonders. When I got to the outro , I was disappointed. It almost sounded like you guys just gave up on the track and rushed the end. Anyhow some sounds were solid clean , nice EQ overall work flow and mixdown , while on the other hand , some things were under cut or overcut.
Since derrick you told me the situation of this track , I guess I can understand why some of it seemed rushed.
But overall it's still decent ear candy and is not a wasted effort.

You're almost there
For a trance song on newgrounds this is very good. For a trance song everywhere else, its just barely worth listening to. But I mean that in the nicest way.
You seem to know how to capture that very full sound and are able to master things relatively well however the song itself sounds amateur and generic in a few ways.
The whole song doesn't flow as smoothly as a trance song is meant to. I noticed that you added a pattern every 4 measures instead of every 8. I recommend, for trance especially, you add 2 patterns every 8 measures and use volume automations, philters. If you are using nexus, use EnV automations instead of philters.
The song itself could use just a bit more mastering. Nothing too fancy but the equalizer is a tad off.
The clap, kick, and HHs used in this song are very default and everyone uses them. I'm almost positive you used VEC3 clap 1 for the clap.
I didn't really find the climax of this song either or any kind of soul, heart, or emotion. It sounds like you tried to make a trance song just to make it not because you felt something. Trance songs should make people feel whatever you felt as you were making it and I just got a whole bunch of emotions from this song.
The song itself might actually sound TOO full. There are either soo many synths and effects playing at one time or not enough. Theres no real time when they balance each other out.
You sound like you have all the basic knowledge down but don't really apply yourself to use absolutely everything you know.
Keep working at it and I'm sure you'll get better.
