You using flash 8? If you are turn off Auto Kern, and it should work fine.
Is always good to see that tutorials.
I already know that stuff, but I congratulate you because there's alot of users that need more tutorials like this one. I remember when I began with flah ,and if it was not for that kind of tutorials, I were never be allowed to learn all those complex info. Thank you for your good work, no everybody have patiente to teach. So I will keep an eye on your next works.

Tutorials are always worth preserving. There are a lot of people with massive talent who are submitting crap.
Talent is important, vision makes it art, passion drives your message. But nothing replaces knowing what you're doing. Not to mention the time it can save you to know techniques folks have already worked out.
If more people read tutorials, fewer pieces would be blammed. If more people would lurk for a few days before submitting, blams could be cut in half.
More importantly, decent pieces could become good ones.
