The second one sounds better, but only if it's by itself. I imagine that if you had a background or even a layered synth, the first one would probably be better.

2nd version
Both are great, but the first one had a bit too much sidechaining.. kind of made my headache worse (no offence Lol.) The second one is perfect in my opinion - much smoother, easier to listen to, but with the same epic "bam" feeling.
So between the two, the second one would have to be my choice.. it sounds like a melody from one of those songs I could just listen to over and over again without getting annoyed or sick of it.

Very nice but.... Which one?
Pretty impressive! The beats are neat in both parts, the melody is excellent.The first part is more of the heavy style which isn't your usual style. Then again, it's pretty nice. But in my opinion, I'd go with the second part ; it feels more complete to me.
I prefer part 2.
